How do I place an order for a custom cake and dessert?

You will find a form which you can fill out with your details and cake desires, we then will get back to you within the next 2-3 days to confirm. And then let us know about your event and what you are looking for so we can start designing something special for you. Once the design is agreed on, a final price is quoted. We do require a 30% non-refundable deposit to reserve a cake and hold a specific date. The remaining balance is due before the event date.

How soon should I place my order?

The sooner the better. We suggest at least 3- 4 weeks prior to the event. Depending on availability we will take last minute orders. Weekend Orders Fill UP Fast!
(Contract/invoices are not valid or binding until a 30% deposit has been received.)

Minimum order?

Our standard size cupcakes and cookies are offered in boxes of 6 or 12. We offer an assortment of flavors or designs for a minimum order of a dozen or more. All customized cupcakes and fillings will be at an additional cost. We offer mini cupcakes too.
*Premium flavors are priced higher.

Delivery and pickup?

We basically require pick-up from the store. Pick up is during our operation hours only.
Delivery is available upon special request only, prices are subject to address (NJ, NY only).
we cannot be responsible for damage to any cake once it has left our shop. Any repairs or replacement cakes will be subject to additional fees.
(Please place your cake box on a flat surface in your car (i.e. back trunk) where your air conditioning may reach it. Do not put your cake on a slanted back seat. To ensure a smooth delivery, please drive slow and steady.)

Pricing?

Pricing is based on the size and decor of the cakes. All of our cakes are custom made, no price is final until all the details are discussed.

What is your refund policy?

Deposits are non-refundable. If your event is canceled, you can use your deposit as a credit towards a future special event.

Do you offer cake tastings?

We do not offer cake tastings at this time due to high demand.

FYI – our cakes do need to come to room temperature before consuming, allow 2+ hours before serving.

All products, including our custom cakes, made on the premise of One The Cake may contain, without limitation, eggs, nuts, and milk, and our facilities are not allergen-free. While we use reasonable efforts to avoid cross-contamination, we are not responsible for an individual’s allergic reaction to our products, facilities, or ingredients used in our products.
We do have and use products containing dairy, eggs, soy, and peanuts.
